A few such places in Jaipur include the breathtaking Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, and so on. And not just that, you get to relish your taste buds with the delectable authentic Rajasthani cuisine that will make you want to stay in Jaipur forever.

All of the things we mentioned above sound exciting, right? Well, why don’t you try exploring the city by cycle?

Cycling has gained massive popularity over the last few years now. And with the pandemic, the masses have switched over to cycling since 2017. And with that, the tourism industry has witnessed a massive hike in cycling tours. We are certain that a cycle trip to Jaipur will be worth it all.

Let us guide you through it!

Cycling in Jaipur:

Before we begin, let us just tell you that it is always a good idea to start off with an early morning cycling tour.

Nahargarh Fort:

We have picked the Nahargarh Fort to be our very first place, to begin with, cause apparently, it is the most scenic route of Jaipur. You only get an adventure of a lifetime while cycling through the hills but also get to see the panoramic view of the Jal Mahal in Mansagar.

You can get to Nahargarh Fort by two routes.

One of them is Kanak Ghati and the other one goes through the old and kind of challenging roads of Purani Basti.

Amer Fort:

Amer Fort is a captivating piece of architecture. Cycling to Amer Fort is certainly something you must not miss. And as you do so, you will be treating yourself to the immensely breathtaking and surreal Sagar Lake. This scenic cycling route will take you through one heck of a time as you get to witness the culture and heritage of Jaipur along with the magic of nature.

City Palace:

The City Palace of Jaipur was built in the 18th century and is a marvelous piece of art. And if you don’t know this, the royal family of Jaipur still lives in the palace. The palace might leave your jaw dropped with its enchanting gardens, temples, halls, courtyards, and entrances.

Not just that, the palace also has a museum where you can get a deeper look at the history of Jaipur. Along with that, when you cycle out of the palace, you can indulge in some fun textile and jewelry shopping.

Hawa Mahal:

If you do not pay a visit to the Hawa Mahal when you visit Jaipur, you are wasting your trip. With 953 windows, the Hawa Mahal resembles very much a honeycomb beehive. It was initially designed keeping the royal ladies in mind. They used to visit the Hawa Mahal to witness any functions or events without being seen by the people.

If you plan on visiting the Hawa Mahal, we would recommend you take an early morning cycling trip to relish the morning sun.

Jantar Mantar:

In the event that astronomy captivates you, Jantar Mantar should be on your rundown of cycling routes in Jaipur. This old galactic observatory is the place where you can find how people in ancient times knew time using sundials.

Jantar Mantar also includes eighteen other building cosmic instruments that were used for different purposes, including gauging dawn and nightfall times, finding the placement of the pole star, and so on.

Well, these were a couple of places in Jaipur you must include in your cycling tour. Happy exploring!
